Psychological therapy

Space for how
you’re feeling.

Compassionate, individual psychological support for anxiety, stress, depression, OCD, trauma and other emotional challenges.

You don’t have to make sense of it alone.

Emotional difficulties can affect how you feel about yourself, your relationships and everyday life. You may be experiencing persistent worry, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with motivation or finding it harder to cope with demands that once felt manageable.

Therapy offers time to explore what you are experiencing, understand what may be keeping difficulties going and consider changes that feel meaningful and manageable for you.

What we can explore together

Anxiety and worry

Understanding patterns of worry, fear, physical tension or avoidance, and developing ways to respond with greater confidence.

Stress, overwhelm and burnout

Making sense of the pressures you are facing, recognising your limits and needs, and exploring boundaries, recovery and sustainable ways of managing demands.

Depression, low mood and loss of motivation

Exploring changes in mood, energy, enjoyment or self-confidence, with support to reconnect with valued activities and relationships.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

A compassionate space to discuss unwanted intrusive thoughts, doubts, compulsions or rituals and their impact on daily life. We work collaboratively to understand your experiences and agree appropriate goals and support.

Trauma and distressing experiences

Support to make sense of the impact of frightening, overwhelming or distressing experiences. Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable, with attention to safety, trust and emotional regulation. We agree an approach around your needs and readiness, including consideration of trauma-focused therapies where appropriate.

Self-esteem, relationships and life changes

Considering self-criticism, difficult relationship patterns, adjustment and uncertainty, while recognising your strengths and what matters to you.

Support shaped around your needs.

We begin with an initial psychology assessment to understand your concerns, personal circumstances, strengths and goals. Together we consider whether therapy is appropriate and agree an approach, drawing on evidence-based psychological models and reviewing progress along the way.

No GP referral is required. Where appropriate and with your agreement, we work with other health professionals to support continuity of care.

Your next step
