Autism & ADHD, considered together.
Explore overlapping and distinct experiences through an integrated assessment.
A joined-up understanding.
Autism and ADHD can co-occur. A combined assessment considers social communication, sensory experiences, repetition and interests alongside attention, activity levels and impulsivity.
Pre-assessment questionnaires, developmental information, clinical interviews and appropriate observation contribute to the assessment. Tools may include the ADI-R, ADOS-2, DIVA-5 or Young DIVA-5, depending on age, needs and assessment format.
Feedback that connects the picture.
Clinical review brings the information together, considering alternative and co-occurring explanations. Feedback and a written report describe the outcome and personalised support recommendations.
Your questions
Will an assessment always lead to a diagnosis?
No. An assessment explores whether diagnostic criteria are met and considers alternative or co-occurring explanations. Feedback focuses on understanding your profile and identifying useful next steps, whatever the outcome.
Can I discuss adjustments?
Yes. Please share any communication, sensory or processing needs before your appointment so that suitable adjustments can be considered.
